After all the people that has been discharged or terminated because of health reasons in the Fire Department it seems a little ironic that now he has health issues he will be allowed that amount of sick leave plus getting he and his wife's insurrance payed for life plus a 93,000 a year consultant fee. Things must be going pretty well in the City these day's, but Im sure when its raise time all you guys will hear is how tight things are in the city, and how you all will have to tighten up you belts, most likely some one will have to be layed off. SAME OLD SONG AND DANCE BUT WITH A DIFFERANT PARDNER

This is a slap in the face and salt to the wound to two of our brothers that was wronged when they had medical problems. Hiring freeze for public safety but a full on spending spree for a web site.

I deleted a comment that entertained the idea of Mr. Spangler not being able to enjoy his retirement. I am not trying to be PC here but I have to keep this site clean and respecful. I or the web team will not allow any comment that would allude any harm to another individual. While as with any manager we may not agree with the way things are handled but the past is the past. Before everyone gets in an up roar I to did not recieve a fair deal just this past summer....but life goes on.

If you wish to choose other words and re-write what you posted please do! But DO NOT put anything that would allude anything bad to another Human this will not be tolerated!
